The Volunt2Thai “Food Forest” is already in its third year.

Food Forest Status, August 2025 😊❤️🙏

This month, our campus is once again full of life and energy. We’ve been beautifying the surroundings and continuing to care for our Food Forest project. Since 2022, around 120 trees have already been planted, each one a small step toward a greener, healthier future.

To all our volunteers and friends of the Volunt2Thai project – Volunteer to Thailand (อาสาสมัครประเทศไทย):

🙏❤️☺️ Thank you for your continued support!

Because of your kindness, not only could we expand the Food Forest, but we were also able to provide food to local schools during times when supplies were running low. Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of children, families, and the community.

🌱 About the Food Forest – พัฒนาพื้นที่เพื่อสร้างสวนป่าอาหาร

Back in 2022, we began laying the foundation for what will be a project lasting for decades: the Volunt2Thai Food Forest.

Our goal: the reforestation of 1.5 hectares of land in Northern Thailand.
Once cleared for rice and sugarcane, these lands suffered from illegal logging, leaving animals without shelter and food. With your help, we are bringing life back.

🌳 What we plant: Fruit trees like mango to nourish both people and wildlife.Tall, fast-growing species that reach up to 30 meters, providing shade for younger plants during the dry season. A mix of around 100 different species, creating biodiversity, shelter for rare animals, and nectar for bees – which had nearly disappeared from the countryside.

This isn’t just a forest. It is a green lung, a food source, and a living classroom for the children of our community.
