Volunt2Thai - The Team

The team consists of all of us, each of us who wants to do good and give children a better future

Volunt2Thai is the project of the people, the project of the villagers, the surrounding villages, the children and everyone who wants to help the children to have a better life and a better future. In the almost 10 years that Volunt2Thai has existed, thousands of people have participated in the project, hundreds of children, teachers, school principals, officials, the Ministry of Education and already more than 700 volunteers from all over the world. We together and all who want to do good for the children move the project and the "movement" Volunt2Thai.

To date, the project has been set up with the help of project participants (volunteers & interns) from the following countries: USA • France • Vietnam • Germany • Scotland • Australia • Israel • Switzerland • England • Italy • Austria • Hong Kong • China • Netherlands • Brazil • Norway • Mexico • Faroe Islands • Pakistan • India • Nepal • Costa Rica • Spain • Portugal • Latvia • South Africa • Brazil • Singapore • Argentina • Canada • Malta • Russia • Dominican Republic • New Caledonia with new countries frequently being added to the list.

The Organizers of V2T

The project and organization were founded in 2013 by Raimund Wagner and his family. Since then, many kind-hearted people have joined in and helped shape it into the special initiative it is today. Together, we are a cheerful and dedicated community where everyone can help make the world a little better – each in their own unique way. And the best part: helping others can be a lot of fun!

Raimund Wagner

President, Initiator & Founder

Raimund is the founder and project manager of Volunt2Thai. He learned project management from scratch and has decades of experience in Asia and other parts of the world.

He speaks Thai and other foreign languages, he takes care of communication and administration.

He is a person who brings about events and results, he loves new projects especially when project participants bring special skills and talents which are then turned into projects.

Linly Wagner

Coordinator, Organizier

Linly is a passionate mother, she herself comes from a big Thai family. Professionally, she is a trained tourism specialist, she takes care of the volunteers on campus that they have everything they need.

In parallel and seasonally she opens the small store and coffee shop in front of the campus. If there is time on weekends, she also organizes excursions for the volunteers.

Nicolas Wagner

V2T Thai Boxing Gym Leader

Nicolas is Student, multilingual and leads the fully equipped V2T Thai Boxing Gym, part of V2T Campus. The gym is available free of charge to volunteers, children, and youth.

As an experienced fighter, Nicolas shares his knowledge and offers training and classes when his schedule allows – a great opportunity to learn authentic Muay Thai from a pro.

Anita Wagner

Student

Anita is a student, multilingual, and actively involved in various activities at the local school. She has a strong interest in the arts – whether drawing, painting, or music, she enjoys it all.

She is also very sociable and loves spending time with our volunteers. Of course, she is also happy to lend a helping hand, for example by cooking together.

Alexander Wagner

Student

Alexander is a schoolboy and the youngest in the family. He is also multilingual and is growing up in a community with many volunteers, which he truly enjoys. He loves to play, is very social, and always up for some fun.

The Schools

Principals & Teachers

Volunt2Thai collaborates with about 12 local schools, involving directors, teachers, and the Ministry of Education.

As a community-driven initiative, it aims to improve the lives and futures of children with support from over 700 global volunteers. For over a decade, the project has united thousands, including children, educators, and civil servants, in a collective effort to benefit the youth.
