By traveling, exploring, testing ourselves, measuring our limits and inner strength, we grow, improve, broaden our horizons, become more empathetic and receptive. Traveling is a bit like coming out of ourselves and out of our shell and then returning enriched by each other and each other's lives.

It is for this very reason that I would like to sincerely thank all "my" wonderful and incredible school children in Ban Lao for giving me so much of themselves, for giving me an important opportunity to reflect on the right focus in life and on the values that really deserve our attention. You probably gave me more than I gave you ❤️.

Many thanks to the Volunt2Thai project and Raimund Wagner for making this possible. I would also like to thank all the people I met and got to know during these 6 eventful weeks.  Special thanks to Daniele, my guide from Siam Adventure, who not only showed me the paradisaical beauty of Phuket, but also shared a piece of life with me that reminded me of the beauty of Orsigna and the immensity of Tiziano Terzani ❤️.

I thank Ken, my fellow volunteer on campus, for looking after me and all of us, including the kittens, with gallantry and intelligence as well as great humanity ❤️ I thank Am and Mali for making my stay even more beautiful by talking to me about them, with eyes and smiles and also with words.  And last but not least, I thank Pim, a little girl whom I will carry in my heart forever and to whom I wish all the best that life can give her ❤️.
