Volunt2Thai says Thank YOU! to Elisa Foltyn and Stefanie Thielmann

Our special thanks go to Elisa Foltyn and Stefanie Thielmann from the German Joomla Community

who have supported Volunt2Thai so very much with their work! Thank you for all your support helping to bring our project for the children to success!

The content management system of our website is based on is Joomla. The brand name „Joomla" is Suaheli and means „All together“ - All together because Joomla is Open Source and has a big community of volunteers, working on the system itself, doing marketing for it, translating it into 75 (!!) languages and spreading it around the world. They do that completely voluntary, so that millions of people can use the system to build websites and mostly also their business and basically their living on. From private persons, to organizations like ours up to big enterprise companies. Lately we had issues in some maintaining tasks for our site and asked in a german speaking Facebook group for help. Of course the Joomla volunteers are only there to serve the system and not to build your site. But we were incredibly lucky to meet Elisa Foltyn and Stefanie Thielmann who stood up to help us out for some issues. This help is really important for us, because we need every helping hand to raise the education and to help the children here in Thailand. We offered both to present their business in this post but they asked to only mention the beating heart of the Joomla community. And so we do. Thank you Joomla, Thank you Joomlers.

In the name of Volunt2Thai in our task and duty to keep our promises to the children, to support them and to accompany them, to give you a better future.
